A non-burning liquid blend of Yucca Plant Extracts and Chitosan. Chitosan is known to have eliciting activities leading to a variety of defense mechanisms in host plants in response to abiotic stress, microbial infection and parasitic nematodes, including the accumulation of phytoalexins, Pathogen-Related (PR) proteins and proteinase inhibitors, lignin synthesis and callose formation.

Chitosan is known to chelate nutrients and minerals. Yucca is also a very effective natural wetting agent. Yucca and Chitosan both stimulate the microbial activity of the soil while helping speed the plant uptake of fungicides, insecticides, and fertilizers.

Directions for Use:
Apply just prior to the onset of stress conditions and repeat every 14 - 28 days

Foliar Spray Rate for Greens, Tees, Fairways, Roughs, Sports Turf & Lawns: Apply 0.367 - 1.46 oz of Omega™ with 1.5 - 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. (1 - 4 Pints or 16 - 64 oz of Omega™ with 66-88 gallons of water per acre)

Soil Spray Rate for Greens, Tees, Fairways, Roughs, Sports Turf & Lawns: Apply 1.46 - 2.93 oz of Omega™ with 1.5 - 2 gallons on water per 1,000 sq. ft. (4 - 8 Pints or 64 oz - 128 oz of Omega™ with 44 - 88 gallons of water per acre)

Trees and Shrubs (Soil Injection or Drench rate):  Apply 16-32 oz of Omega with 25-50 gallons of water per 1000 square feet under the drip zone of the plants.

SPECIAL TANK MIXING INFORMATION:

  • Follow manufacturer's guidelines for cleaning spray equipment prior to mixing. Fill tank 3/4 full with water.

  • MUST Adjust spray solution to pH 3.5 -5.5 prior to adding Omega™ x34 into the spray tank. Add Plant Food Alpha as a tank acidifying agent. Use properly calibrated electronic pH meter or the pH strips included with Omega™ x34 to check spray tank pH while acidifying.

  • Add fungicide, insecticide or nutritional ingredients according to product labels. Agitate as directed. Compatible with most turf chemicals. A jar compatibility test should be done before any tank mix is made.
