Winter Plant Health Program
Summary
Preparing, protecting, and “hardening” the turf plant from cold, damp weather stress is critical as the winter months approach. This tank mix combination provides balanced nutrition and turf turgidity in cool temperatures. It also offers limited frost protection and recovery.
Products
PolyPhosphite 30®, 0-0-27 Produced through a patented manufacturing process, resulting in the patented long-chain polyphosphite molecule. This molecule is active in the plant longer than traditional phosphites.
Oxygen degrades a phosphite, converting it back to a phosphate by attaching to the ends of a phosphite molecule. The long-chain molecule is slower to degrade compared to traditional non-polyphosphites–An excellent source of systemic potassium.
Green-T impulse™ Increases potassium and calcium levels within plant cell walls, improving stress tolerance and decreasing sodium levels. This aids in the reduction of wilt stress. It is a biologically active nutrient source that promotes rapid recovery after winter stress and frost events.
12 Iron This Iron, Manganese, and Magnesium glucoheptonate chelate liquid produces a deep green turf blade without excessive growth. MAT acid solubilizes tied-up nutrient compounds near the crown of the plant to make them plant available for a longer period. This results in rapid turf response.
