For Broadcast, Sidedress, Fertigation and Foliar Applications

GENERAL INFORMATION

BORON is essential in the development and growth of new tissue and fruit set. Boron 10% Liquid is a readily available source of Boron. It may be applied in water or mixed with most Plant Food Company, Inc.’s liquid fertilizer, micronutrients or pesticides. Before mixing multiple chemicals and/ or fertilizers in the tank, confirm product compati- bility by performing a jar test. Be sure to mix with plenty of water.

Directions for Use:
Soil Application: Always mix Plant Food Company, Inc.’s Boron 10% Liquid well to ensure even application in the field. Boron 10% Liquid may be applied broadcast, sidedress, through trickle or solid set irrigation, alone or in combination with other agricultural chemical and liquid fertilizers. Broadcast applications to the soil should not exceed one gallon per acre per application. Sidedress and trickle applications should be limited to no more than 2 quarts Boron 10% Liquid per acre per application. More frequent applications at lower rates throughout the season would be more effective.

Do not mix with Ag-Cal 10% Foliar Calcium

Foliar Applications: Apply Boron 10% Liquid with enough water to thoroughly cover foliage. Early morning or late eve- ning applications give the best results. Boron is not translocated easily within the plant; therefore, multiple applications at lower rates throughout the season would be more effective.

Air Applications: Normal aerial application is one quart of Boron 10% Liquid in a minimum of 5 gallons of water per acre per application.
