GENERAL INFORMATION
Plant Food Company’s Manganese 5% (Mn) is a Chelated Micronutrient for the prevention and correction of Manganese deficiencies.
Directions for Vegetable Use:
Foliar Applications:
1-2 qts. per acre per application througout the growing season with a minimum of 10 gallons of water.
Maintenance Rate: Use 1 qts. Plant Food Company’s Manganese 5% (Mn) per acre per application through the growing season as a maintenance program. At least three applications are recommended.
Correcting Deficiencies Rate: Apply up to 1.5 qts. per acre. Repeat applications may be required. Use a minimum of 20 gallons of water per acre with ground spray equipment.
The addition of 1 qt. per acre N-Sure 28-0-0 Nitrogen will aid leaf penetration.
Aerial Application:
Apply 1 – 1.5 qt. per acre in a minimum of 5 gallons of water per acre. For best resutls, apply multiple applications.
Soil Applications:
For best results, use Plant Food Company’s 6% EDTA Manganese for soil application
Do not mix with Sulfates such as Epsom Salts, which may cause a displacement of the chelating agent.
Note: Foliar applications are used to supplement your regular fertilizer applications. Foliar nutrients increase fruit yield, quality and firmness by supplying additional nutrients during periods of stress to the plant such as fruit development
* Be sure to mix with plenty of water. To confirm compatibility, be sure to do a jar test.
Tank Mixing;
Prior to any fertilizer of pesticide application, all spray mixing and application equipment must be cleaned. A quality tank cleaner is recommended. Carefully observe all cleaning directions on the pesticide and fertilizer label. Fill the spray or mix tank at least 3⁄4 full of water and begin agitation. Add pesticides and/or fertilizers as directed by labeling or in the following sequence:
1) Dry flowables or water dispersible granules, 2) Wettable powders, 3) Flowables, 4) Emulsifiable concentrates, 5) Water based solutions, 6) Compatibility agents, 7) Micronutrients and fertilizer, 8) Spray adjuvant
Caution:
Keep away from children and domestic animals. Avoid contact with eyes, open cuts, or sores. Harmful if swallowed. External: Flood with water. Internal: Induce vomiting. Contact a physician immediately
Storage and Handling:
Store in a cool dry place, keep container tightly closed, do not add water or other material to the container. Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage or disposal. Do not store near acids or other acidic materials.
Store above 32° F. Do not allow to freeze.
