GENERAL INFORMATION
Ag Cal is specifically designed to provide Calcium to fruit and vegetable crops more efficiently than other forms of Calcium. Ag Cal’s Calcium is complex with a mix of natural sugar compounds collectively known as Mannitol, a sugar alcohol that encapsulates the Calcium ion enabling it to move into the plant via the phloem, where sugars move easily toward fruit forming tissues. Once the Ag Cal complex reaches the fruit forming tissue, the sugar bond breaks down and the Calcium flows to where it is needed. Unlike Calcium Chloride and Calcium Nitrate, Ag Cal will not produce injuries to the foliage or fruit, such as burned leaves and spotted fruit enabling Ag Cal to be used during the growing season.

Directions for use:
Vegetables, Fruit Tree and Field Crops: Apply 1-2 quarts of Ag Cal per acre per application throughout the growing season. At least 3 applications are recommended. More frequent applications at 1.5 quarts per acre may be needed to correct deficiencies once they occur. Avoid tank mixing with phosphate and/or excessively alkaline based fertilizer solutions. Use a minimum of 10 gallons of water per acre with ground spray equipment and a minimum of 5 gallons for aerial application.

Ornamental Crops:

Apply 1-2 quarts of Ag Cal per 100 gallons of water covering foliage thoroughly to point of runoff.

Soil Application:

Can be made as a pre-plant or a sidedress using 1-2 Gallons per acre.

Post Harvest and Fruit Drench Application:

Recommended rate for drench tanks is 1.5 gallons of Ag Cal per 100 gallons of water.

*Application of Copper and Ag Cal are not recommended unless spray solution is buffered to a pH of 6.3
*Avoid applications with Phosphorous

Tank Mixing:

Prior to any fertilizer of pesticide application, all spray mixing and application equipment must be cleaned. A quality tank cleaner is recommended. Carefully observe all cleaning directions on the pesticide and fertilizer label. Fill the spray or mix tank at least 3⁄4 full of water and begin agitation. Add pesticides and/or fertilizers as directed by labeling or in the following sequence:

1) Dry flowables or water dispersible granules, 2) Wettable powders, 3) Flowables, 4) Emulsifiable concentrates, 5) Water based solutions, 6) Compatibility agents, 7) Micronutrients and fertilizer, 8) Spray adjuvant

Caution:

Keep away from children and domestic animals. Avoid contact with eyes, open cuts, or sores. Harmful if swallowed. External: Flood with water. Internal: Induce vomiting. Contact a physician immediately.

Storage and Handling:

Store in a cool dry place. Keep container tightly closed. Do not add water or other material to the container. Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage or disposal.

Store above 32°F. Do not allow to freeze.
